1. General:

TruceWorks LLC ("TruceWorks" or "we") operates This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the "Policy") describes TruceWorks' use and sharing of personally identifiable information, such as your full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, or credit card number ( collectively "PII") that Members voluntarily provide to TruceWorks when they register. The Term "User" refers to a Visitor or a Member. This Policy applies to the services offered by TruceWorks including general information about how to resolve conflict and two way private communication facilities via email between participating registrants; access to any TruceWorks-branded URL (the "TruceWorks Website") and TruceWorks Content; and any other features, content, or applications offered from time to time by TruceWorks in connection with TruceWorks' business (the "TruceWorks Services"). Currently, when you register on our site, the only PII we ask for is your email address and to select a password ("Registration PII"). However, TruceWorks reserves the right to request all PII as defined herein as part of the Registration PII as such PII becomes applicable in order for the Member to access and use the TruceWorks Services.

The TruceWorks Website is a general audience website and TruceWorks does not knowingly collect PII fro children under 13 years of age.

From time to time we may revise and/or modify this Policy to reflect industry initiatives or changes in the law, our PII collection and use practices, the features of the TruceWorks Services or technology. If we make revisions that changes the way we collect or use your PII, those changes will be posted in this Policy and the effective date will be noted at the beginning of this Policy. Therefore, you should review it periodically so that you are up-to-date on our most current policies and practices. If we materially change our practices regarding use of your PII, your PII will continue to be governed by the Policy under which it was collected unless you have been provided notice of, and have not objected to, the change.


When TruceWorks collects PII from you, it is because you are voluntarily submitting Registration PII to us in order to register as a Member of TruceWorks without which you would be unable to participate in certain activities including (i) filling out a questionnaire with non-personally identifiable information about a conflict you are in with another person; (ii) supply our database with the email address of the Member you choose to engage with on TruceWorks; and (iii) registration for the TruceWorks Services and tools such as downloads and community services; (iii) registration for special communications, such as email updates and newsletters; and (iv) purchase products or services from or through the TruceWorks Website. We also may receive on the TruceWorks Website User--generated content or information of any type or medium, which may include PII, including text chat.

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information in public areas of the TruceWorks Website, your information can be viewed and possibly be used by others. We advise Users to be especially careful in such public areas about disclosing PII, such as full name, home address, or phone number.


TruceWorks will only use the PII you provide under this Policy in a manner that is consistent with this Policy. If TruceWorks obtains PII from a third party, our use of that information is also governed by this Policy.

Any of the PII we collect from you will only be used for your use of the TruceWorks Services, except , the Registration PII you or the other Member(s) provide for participating in the TruceWorks Services will be used to (i) send you or the other Member(s), with your consent or the consent of the other Member(s) information pertaining to participation in the TruceWorks Services; and (ii) If you have consented to receive promotional materials (e.g. newsletters) or notifications from TruceWorks, TruceWorks may periodically use your Registration PII to send you such materials related to TruceWorks Services, as applicable. If you want to stop receiving such materials from TruceWorks, you can change your profile settings under "Account Settings" or follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each web page.

Use by Third Parties: TruceWorks employees, agents and contractors must have a business reason to obtain access to your PII, TruceWorks may share your PII with those who help us manage or provide the TruceWorks Services' (for example, administration, operation of the TruceWorks Website and business, order fulfillment, and data processing), but they must have agreed to keep your PII confidential and only to use your PII to provide TruceWorks with a specific service and not for any other purpose.

TruceWorks may also enter into agreements with outside companies that possess the technology that allows TruceWorks to customize the advertising and marketing messages you receive on the TruceWorks Website. Your non-PII and click stream data about your activities on our site may be shared with these companies so this customization can be accomplished. These companies have or will agree not to share your information with any third party or use it for any other purpose. If you visit the TruceWorks Website anonymously, any anonymous click stream and demographic information may also be shared with TruceWorks' advertisers and business partners.

Cookies: Cookies are small bits of information that are placed on the hard drive of your computer (if your computer accepts cookies) when you visit the TruceWorks Website. We may use cookies to recognize Users who have already registered for the TruceWorks Services, allowing them to speed up their future activities on the TruceWorks Website. Personally identifying details about your activities on the TruceWorks Website are not currently shared with anyone but TruceWorks. However, information about your non-personally identifiable information may be used to manage and improve the TruceWorks Services, track usage and for security purposes.

Third party advertisements displayed on the TruceWorks Website may also contain cookies set by internet advertising companies or advertisers. TruceWorks does not control these cookies. You should check the privacy policy of the internet advertising company or advertisers see whether and how it uses cookies.

You can set your computer to alert you each time a cookie is being sent or to refuse cookies completely. However, without cookies, you may not have access to certain features on the TruceWorks Website.

Web Beacons: We may also use web beacons, clear gif technology, or action tags as mechanisms to collect aggregate TruceWorks Website visitations data by tracking how Users navigate to and through our website. We may also use this technology to track the delivery of HTML email messages. Data collected through this mechanism is not linked to your PII.


When you voluntarily provide PII to TruceWorks, to the extent such PII is being used in a manner that differs from what is allowed pursuant to this Policy, we will make sure you are informed about who is collecting the information, how and why the information is being collected and the types of uses.

Except as described in this Policy, TruceWorks will not share your PII with third parties unless you have given permission to do so (See "Use" below).


TruceWorks Services may be linked to Internet sites operated by other companies. TruceWorks Services may also carry advertisements from other companies. TruceWorks is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or other services operated by third parties that are linked to or integrated with the TruceWorks Service or for the privacy practices of third party Internet advertising companies. Once you leave TruceWorks Services via such a link, access a third party application (such as widgets) or click on an advertisement, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party or advertiser site to determine, among other things, how they will handle any PII they collect from you.

Some of the advertisements that appear on TruceWorks Services may also be delivered to you by third party Internet advertising companies. These companies utilize certain technologies to deliver advertisements and marketing messages and to collect non-PII about your visit to or use of TruceWorks Services, including information about the ads they display, via a cookie placed on your computer that reads your IP address. Except as described in this Policy, TruceWorks will get your permission before we use the PII you provide to us in a way that is inconsistent with the purpose for which it was submitted or share your PII with third parties that are not affiliated with TruceWorks.

You can confirm, change or update your PII you have provided us by contacting us directly at TruceWorks with your request.

If you want to opt out of communications from TruceWorks, you can do so by following the Unsubscribe Link at the bottom of each page on the website or click on this link. Follow the instructions on the Unsubscribe Page. If you change your mind and want to undo the unsubscribe, return to the site, click on the Unsubscribe Link at the bottom of the page. Log in (if not already) and follow the instructions on the Unsubscribe Page.


To prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or modification, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of your PII, TruceWorks including any TurceWorks-branded URL (the "TruceWorks Website"), uses commercially reasonable administrative, electronic and physical procedures to safeguard PII in its possession. Notwithstanding these security measures, please be aware that when you submit PII to the TruceWorks Website over the internet, the Information may travel over many systems that are not under TruceWorks' control and may not be secure.

Passwords: Since a password is used to help protect your account and PII, it is your responsibility to keep you password confidential. Do not share this information with anyone. Anyone who has access to your password will have access to your PII, inclusive of any credit card information that you have submitted, as applicable. If you are sharing a computer with anyone you should always log out before leaving a site or service to protect access to your information from subsequent users.


Access: Whenever possible, TruceWorks Members may review the PII (inclusive of the Registration PII), we maintain about them in our records. We will take reasonable steps to correct any PII a Member informs us is incorrect.

Legal Compliance: If you ask TruceWorks to stop using your PII, TruceWorks will honor that request while retaining a record of your PII that is necessary to comply with applicable federal or local law. The foregoing notwithstanding, there may be instances when TruceWorks may disclose PII without providing you with a choice in order to protect the legal rights of TruceWorks, or their employees, agents and contractors, to protect the safety and security of Users to our website, to investigate, prevent or protect against suspected fraud, illegal activity, violations of our Terms of Use Agreement (which governs this Policy and the use of the TruceWorks Website and/or TruceWorks Services) or for risk management purposes; or to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process; or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
